Join our Production Team

If you want to work in the dirt and help us grow, you can join one of these subcommittees:

  • Seeds & Plants
  • Construction/Carpenter
  • Maintenance
  • Watering
  • Integrated Pest Management

Join the Education Committee

We need people to join our Education Committee and help us plan and execute The Talking Farm's (TTF) educational programs, by:

  • Sharing TTF urban agriculture knowledge with our community
  • Brainstorming and planning ideas for TTF workshops, lectures
  • Creating a schedule of TTF classes for the growing season
  • Document/photograph farm for website, media, posterity
  • Using our Website as an educational tool and to keep the public informed of our progress, classes and events.

Help with Marketing and Fundraising

Now is a great time to head up either the Fundraising or the Marketing Committees. We are looking for great ideas about how to position ourselves, strengthen our message and keep moving forward in support for The Talking Farm's mission and vision.

Donate tools, equipment, organic seeds and plants, and/or money

We also need donations in the following categories: tools & equipment, seeds & plants, soil & compost, lumber and other building materials, and of course, financial contributions as well.

Help us make our own compost

What is a farm without compost? And if you already compost at home and have extra food scraps, you can help us by composting your food for donation to The Talking Farm.
