Farm Dinner with Found Kitchen & Altissima

Join The Talking Farm for a special farm dinner fundraiser featuring Evanston’s Found Kitchen and Chicago’s Altissima who will partner to create a 4-course, family-style meal on the Howard Street Farm, The Talking Farm’s 2.5-acre urban farm in Skokie. Found will prepare all of the savory courses using produce grown on the farm just steps from your table, and Altissima will create a signature dessert to enjoy at the end of the meal.

The evening will begin with passed appetizers and champagne while you explore the farm’s grow fields and hoop houses – or just sit and relax in our farm “lounge. Then, we’ll sit down at the farm table for a family-style meal prepared by Chef Evan Sumrell from Found using the freshest, local vegetables, sustainably grown by Farmer Matt Ryan from The Talking Farm. Pastry chef Vanessa Hayes from Altissima will create a one-of-a-kind dessert to finish your meal. Wine and non-alcoholic beverages will be served. We’ll wrap up the night with our tradition of s’mores, spirits, and cordials under the stars. A true farm-to-table experience!

Your ticket price supports the urban agriculture and farm development projects of The Talking Farm, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, a portion of which is tax-deductible under the law.

Your ticket includes:

  • Passed appetizers and champagne reception
  • Four-course family-style dinner (meat/fish and vegetable options will be served)
  • Wine and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Bonfire smores, spirits, and cordials
  • Service, tax, and tip

$150/person including tax+tip. Members receive a 20% discount (refer to your membership email for a special link to purchase tickets at a discounted price). Proceeds from the dinner benefit The Talking Farm, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation and its urban agriculture education and farm development projects. You can reserve our Chef’s Table – a special customized experience for your group of 8 — you’ll have dedicated seating near the action and will receive special perks, such as your own cocktail cart with mixers, a basket of farm-fresh vegetables for each person to take home, mignardises, and more!
