Tickets are no longer for sale. Check back here for tickets to our next Singing Farm Concert on August 16th with Nora O’Connor and Uncommon Ground!
We are excited to announce The Singing Farm Summer Concert Series at the Howard Street Farm! Grab a few friends, set up your blanket and chairs, bring all your best picnic gear, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner by one of our restaurant-partners, while listening to live music all in the open air. The first concert kicks off July 19 with music by the Sanctified Grumblers.
Each ticket provides admission for up to 4 people, and guarantees your group a designated, socially-distanced picnic spot (we do not encourage separate groups to intermingle in order to stay within state guidelines on COVID-19).
For our first concert in the series, each ticket will also include a 4-course dinner of salad, pasta, roasted chicken, and dessert freshly prepared by Anteprima that features produce grown on the farm steps from your picnic site. The dinner is prepackaged and provides enough food to satiate four people and two people generously. We ask that guests bring their own plates, glasses, and utensils to minimize waste and cross-contamination. There will be optional add-on tickets for Italian wine and Sketchbook beer.
Then sit back and enjoy the music as the Sanctified Grumblers take stage! With roots in blues, folk, and Americana, this acoustic trio weaves old timey traditions and modern universal themes. Formed in 2009, they have performed at the Chicago Blues Festival, Square Roots Festival, American Music Festival, Millennium Park, Buddy Guy’s Legends, the Double Door, and many other Chicago institutions. Get ready to clap along and maybe even do a little boogie woogie!
Proceeds from ticket sales support The Talking Farm, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, and tickets are tax-deductible to the extent allowed under the law.
