Growing up, I always showed interest and passion for nature at an early age. From Chicago, I enjoy gardening at home, spending time outdoors, and riding my bike throughout the city. I have a degree in environmental studies and a minor in geography from Northeastern Illinois University. I was a display gardener intern at the Chicago Botanic Garden and a restoration ecology intern with Lake Forest Openlands. I also volunteered in New Orleans and Puerto Rico, working with local communities on environmental issues, including wetland cleanup and urban farming. Now, at the Talking Farm, I hope to share my passion with our community by providing fresh, local, and sustainably sourced produce while promoting the importance of buying local and being eco-friendly.
