Director of Education & Programming
Jennifer comes to The Talking Farm with over a decade of experience in the local food movement, from working in pasture-based livestock farming to developing a robust garden curriculum for local elementary students. She’s passionate about helping both kids and adults find easy and accessible ways to grow, choose & consume healthy and sustainably raised foods. Jennifer holds a Communications degree from Northwestern University and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Illinois at Springfield. In her spare time, she enjoys camping, hiking, and road-tripping the U.S. with her husband, four children & dog. Her own yard in Evanston is an experiment in urban homesteading, and she is so excited to expand the educational programming and volunteer opportunities at The Talking Farm.
