Owen Needham
Assistant Production Manager
Owen was born and raised in Chicago and has been working in sustainable agriculture for 8 years. After graduating from college in St. Louis, Owen lived in El Salvador for a year learning sustainable agriculture practices. Owen continued his education in agriculture through farm apprenticeships in central Ohio, and since 2016 he has worked in several urban farming communities in Chicago including Urban Growers Collective, Patchwork Farms, and The Urban Canopy. Owen lives in Rogers Park and is looking forward to continuing to support the local food economy through his work at The Talking Farm. When not working he enjoys reading, playing D&D, and hanging out with his cat Dirtbike.
