Groups of up to 4 people can get their hands dirty at the Howard Street Farm by showing up to one of our volunteer days. A one-time $10 training fee per individual applies for first-timers. To stay on top of volunteering opportunities, be sure to sign up to volunteer and we’ll email you as volunteer days are scheduled.
Groups of 5 or more — to arrange a time for your group visit, start by emailing us or visiting our page on volunteering for more information.
Please note that there are fees for workdays. As a non-profit organization, we depend on donations and grants to fund our operations and growth, and fees for workdays help cover our costs for the workday. All fees are tax-deductible donations to the extent allowed under the law.
- Individuals (one-time training fee): $10
- Civic and school groups
- 5-20 people :$50
- 21-50 people: $100
- 51-100 people: $200
- Corporate
- up to 20 people: $300
- 20-50 people: $500
- 51-100 people: $1,000
Once the workday is scheduled, we will contact you to arrange payment, which can be made by credit card or check.
Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate groups of over 100 people at this time.
COVID protocol: At this time, volunteers do not need to be vaccinated or show proof of vaccination, but you may be asked to distance or wear masks during your visit.
