Learn how to grow food sustainably

Volunteering is back for 2021!

Volunteering with The Talking Farm will immerse you in nature and teach you how to grow food sustainably. As a volunteer, you will have a direct contribution to the development, cultivation, and harvest of the Howard Street Farm.

You do not need to be vaccinated to volunteer. For COVID safety purposes, all volunteers will be expected to:

  • wear a mask at all times during volunteer activities (whether or not you are vaccinated);
  • keep a 6-foot distance from any persons who are not in their household; and
  • sign a self-certification that they are symptom-free prior to beginning activities
