Join us for a one-night-only Farm Dinner celebrating the delicious intersection of pasta, farming, and sustainability. Presented by The Talking Farm in collaboration with Flour Power—Chicago’s masters of pasta and seasonal creativity—this special evening highlights peak produce at its freshest, honoring the care, nutrients, and flavor built into every ingredient. Set on The Talking Farm’s lush 2.5-acre Howard Street Farm, the night begins with a welcome cocktail or glass of champagne and passed hors d’oeuvres as you wander the farm at its most abundant.
Then, gather at a beautifully set long table in the heart of the growing fields for a five-course, family-style feast of chef-driven dishes, thoughtfully paired with wines and beers. As the sun sets, savor vibrant flavors, warm conversation, and the golden glow of early fall. The evening concludes with cordials and after-dinner s’mores—a memorable, midsummer-meets-autumn celebration of food, community, and the farm that makes it all possible.
Proceeds from this event support The Talking Farm, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit, and its urban agriculture educational programs and 2.5-acre urban farm.
