Steve Schultz
Staff Farmer (Orchard Village)
Steve works both on the Howard Street Farm and is lead farmer at Orchard Village, a garden partnership that serves the developmentally disabled community. Steve has been working in urban agriculture in Chicago since 2019 and values the environmental and social impact that farming in the community brings. He is a graduate of the 2020 Windy City Harvest Apprenticeship program and remains committed to educating his community on the relationship between growing food for people while preserving the land on which it is grown. When Steve is not farming, he does his best to surround himself with trees, water, and mountains and travels with his family wherever and whenever possible.
